Event internet in Washington DC venues can be unreliable, shared, or expensive – especially for events in hotels and historic venues relying on registrations and POS systems.
The Solution
PopUp WiFi deployed a dedicated Workhorse unit with live monitoring and unlimited bonded multi-carrier cellular data from all carriers, with no data cap or throttling.
“Erin Go Glam is Ridgewells Catering’s annual marketing event, in which we present our new menu and event design options for the season and provide a creative, luxury experience for upscale social event planners in the Washington, DC area. This event is in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and is Irish-themed.
We have used it PopUp WiFi at our venue The Mellon Auditorium many times and it has always worked well for us, so we reached out for connectivity to ensure our registrations and back of house devices worked seamlessly. We had no issues with operating all of our online systems. Registration went smoothly and all of our machines that needed to be online had enough power to provide service for our guests.”
