The four PopUp WiFi units scale by modems, coverage and users. The bigger the model, the more antenna power and the higher the speeds available. The Lite (1x 5G + 2x LTE-A) covers up to 70 feet and supports 50 simultaneous users for basic internet; the Workhorse (2x 5G + 2x LTE-A) pushes a signal up 100 feet over clear space and supports 100 users; the Beast Mach 3 (3x 5G, backed by 3x LTE-A) has a range of up 100 feet and supports up to 125 users; and the Titan (4x 5G, backed by 4x LTE-A) at least 120 feet and 150 users. The Beast Mach 3 and Titan add ultra-high-gain antennas, the highest-speed 5G modems and two battery ports for hot-swapping. The units are modular, so you can mix and match the models to achieve a totally custom network solution for your venue and requirements. The Titan is built for maximum speed and features 3 x LAN ports, ideal for media team who might want to connect several devices directly to the unit via hardline for faster data transfer. The Beast Mach 3 features 2 LAN ports and is built for robust triple 5G speeds for most production environments. The Lite and Workhorse each have one LAN port, perfect for connecting a single device or a switch via hardline.

It depends on the unit: For general WiFi access, like email, social media or web browsing, the PopUp WiFi Lite supports up to 50 simultaneous connections, the Workhorse 100, the Beast Mach 3 supports 125 and the Titan up to 150. For bigger crowds, you can rent multiple units and they’ll work together to make one seamless network so users stay connected as they move between zones. Talk to our engineers if you’re expecting high volumes of simultaneous users of AI Tools – they’ll need a different approach.

Yes, you can rent multiple PopUp WiFi units without losing speed. In fact, the more units you have, the greater amount of total network speed as each unit adds more WAN connections to the overall solution. Every unit runs completely unthrottled, bonded cellular connections, so each one delivers its full available bandwidth independently rather than sharing a limited pool. Multiple units also link together to form one seamless network, letting users roam between zones while keeping strong performance. For large-scale events needing several units, talk to our engineers about the best mix of models, like the Beast Mach 3 or Titan, for your venue and crowd size.

The PopUp WiFi Lite has a coverage range of up to 70′ over clear space from the unit, while the Workhorse, Beast Mach 3 and the Titan are all rated for 100′ over clear space from the unit. WiFi travels mostly horizontally and does not travel well vertically between floors in a building. To increase reach in a crowded environment, we recommend installing your unit 6-8′ high to elevate the internet Access Points and allow the WiFi a clear line of sight over a greater distance. If you need more coverage area, we offer a moduler range that allows you to place units where you need coverage. They’ll work seamlessly together so users stay connected as they move around your venue.
