Event Overview
Toast on the Coast is an annual outdoor fundraiser hosted by the Peninsula Education Foundation in beautiful Malaga Cove. Guests enjoy tastings from local restaurant and beverage partners, live music, dancing, auctions, and raffles while raising funds for programs that benefit students across all 17 Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District schools. The mission is to raise money for students and schools in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. Toast on the Coast brings together school families, community members, and local businesses for a celebration with a shared purpose: supporting our public schools. Its beautiful coastal setting, exceptional food and drinks, and lively entertainment make it a memorable evening. What makes it truly special is that the community comes together to raise money so that PEF can help fund music, STEM, counseling, and other essential student programs.
Producer’s Comments
“I would recommend PopUp WiFi, especially for an event that relies on online bidding or ticket sales. Having a dedicated internet connection helped our guests participate in the auction and our team process on-site purchases. It was an important part of our fundraising efforts, and we were grateful for their support.
We were recommended by our IT Consultant, and used PopUp WiFi to support online auction bidding and on-site ticket sales at Toast on the Coast. Guests could place bids from their phones, and our team used the connection to process ticket purchases at the event. PopUp WiFi helped us raise funds for PVPUSD students by making it easy for guests to bid in our online auction and purchase tickets at the event. They helped keep event costs down, allowing more funds to support essential programs in our schools. Without a working internet connection, guests could have had trouble placing online auction bids, and our team could have faced delays processing on-site ticket sales. This could have caused frustration, missed bids, and lost fundraising revenue to support our students and schools.”
