The Nonprofit Storytelling Conference is the premier event for anyone who wants to harness the power of storytelling to raise more money, engage their supporters, and make a real difference in the world. Each year, the conference draws hundreds of like-minded non profit professionals to attend inspiring keynotes and workshops from leading experts in storytelling, fundraising, and marketing. The conference aims to equip attendees with knowledge and skills that can make a real impact in their nonprofit organizations.

This year attendees were treated to an inspiring keynote from Chris Davenport, and presentations from renowned storytellers Tammy Zonker, Jim Shapiro and Kristen Steele. We used PopUp WiFi to connect all attendees for general guest internet, exhbitor product demonstrations and speaker presentations. At our previous conferences, attendee WiFi is something our guests wanted, but didn’t have. Unfortunately, the venue prices made attendee WiFi impossible in previous year, but we wanted guests to be able to connect to send emails, share to social media and use the Whova conference app. With PopUp WiFi, all speakers could connect to reliable internet for their presentations and weren’t held up by buffering or lagging. Exhibitors could connect their product demonstrations and two exhibitors even streamed podcasts of attendee stories. Most importantly, PopUp WiFi significantly enhanced the guest experience with access to the conference app and general browsing.

Without internet, attendees would have been frustrated and wouldn’t have been able to connect to the conference app to interact with the community. In previous years, attendees would stand or sit right at the back of presentation rooms to try to get WiFi connection, which impacted on the communication and interactivity of speaker presentations.
