Event Overview
Best Friends Animal Society was founded in 1984 with a no-kill sanctuary in Utah. Today, we’re helping homeless pets in every corner of the country and working to make every shelter and every community no-kill by 2025 through lifesaving community programs, providing support and training and mobilizing community members. Best Friends Super Adoption is our community event that brings together shelters, rescue groups, and Best Friends pets for a weekend of lifesaving for the shelter pets in the community.
415 animals were saved through adoption and rescue over the two day event.
Producer’s Comments
Rescues and shelters used the internet to process adoptions online and to showcase animals in their care that were not at the event. Internet was also used for merch sales, for vendors and food trucks, and by influencers in attendance live-streaming from the event. PopUp WiFi was reliable, the team was helpful in determining what our needs would be and it was very easy to setup and return. Thank you!
