Event Overview
Carve 4 Cancer is the main event organized by the Live Like Brent Foundation, which focuses on battling blood cancer. Founded by Brent P. Evans, who lost his battle with blood cancer in 2017 at the age of 33, the event has become the region’s top winter charity event over nearly a decade and brings thousands to a local ski resort to enjoy live music, raffles, and ski/snowboard competitions. Proceeds from the event are dedicated to supporting blood cancer patients, in partnership with hospitals including Geisinger, St. Luke’s Cancer Center, University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center, and WVU Cancer Institute.
