Lee Morris1 days agoPopUp WiFi has supported our events and trade shows for years, and they have been great to work with. Their solution works everywhere we go, even in the concrete bunkers at the Gaylord properties. They are also usually cheaper than using the venue's internet, and their service has always been excellent. We have only had one issue, during the ice storm in January 2026. They shipped our unit, realized it probably was not going to make it because of the weather, and automatically sent another one. Unfortunately, neither unit arrived in time, but they refunded the cost without us even asking. That tells you a lot about a company. PopUp WiFi is not just in the WiFi business. They are in the relationship business, and business is good! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing reliable internet for events, trade shows, or temporary locations.Posted on Google
Chris11 days agoThe PopUp WiFi process, platform and support team is incredible!!! From our initial request, I could tell their team was seasoned experts in handling all scenarios for both temporary and ongoing wireless access - they knew their stuff! Our experience for a nonprofit event was exemplary - the process to pre-plan the user count and event size was perfect, the remote support during the initial setup and tuning was painless, and the support rep even proactively communicated with me when some other folks at the event accidentally unplugged power on a couple of the units at different times during the night. We were extremely satisfied with the system and it's performance for an event with about 500 attendees and 4 deployed units covering about half an acre of open space. We'll definitely be using PopUp WiFi for future events, and I'm looking forward to using them for other cases of internet outages for our normal business clients as well. Tarık Stoneman169 days agoWe used PopUp WiFi as a WiFi vendor at a trade show in Texas. After being quoted fairly exorbitant prices we looked into other alternatives. Unit pickup and drop off was from FedEx which was incredibly hasslefree. Once at the venue, it is very easy to setup. Plug in the unit, wait 5 minutes and send a photo to the support team for optimisation. The internet was crucial for our interactive software platform showcase and it was flawless for 3 days straight, highly reccomend.Posted on Google
Tucker Davis173 days agoWe recently used PopUp Wifi for a an event that was taking place underground, and with the unit sitting at ground level, and a single cable running 3 stories downward - I was able to easily supply network connection for a broadcast, upwards of 20 additional machines, and support for a mesh wifi system. This product was one of the most intuitive and easy to use pieces of equipment I have ever touched, which was a huge relief considering how complex network can get. Using 2 unifi managed switches and 2 access points, I plugged in cat 6 to the popup wifi unit and everything was online within minutes! Aside from their incredible tech - the customer service was top notch. Available 24/7 for questions in pre-production and during the event. Very knowledgable and kind staff. This product is a must if you need better internet than a venue provides, or want network connectivity out in the field. Instead of paying the atrocious hotel wifi fees and dealing with their horrible wifi speeds, we ALWAYS use PopUp Wifi. It's cheaper, more reliable, and faster every single time. The team is fabulous, especially Nina who is their CEO. I will go 3-4 months without speaking to her and when I eventually reach back out for service she responds within minutes. Benita Scheckel197 days agoAs a district arts administrator in Hacienda La Puente USD, we have a beloved annual district-wide art show that features over 2000 pieces of student curated art. This year we wanted to add a digital art gallery using apps with VR and iPads. The gallery space has no WiFi. So that's when I reached out to PopUp WiFi and I am so glad I did! Michael Thena268 days agoAs the Technology Coordinator for the Honor Flight Network, we have utilized their system for 2 major events over the last 18 months and have been thoroughly satisfied with the quality of equipment, bandwidth, ease of setup and shipping return. I highly recommend their systems when you have an event that local WiFi is either too expensive OR scarce. Their system for over 300 connections was less cost than the hotel we used. PSL Executive400 days agoI'll make it short a sweet: PopUp Wifi supported my livestream event for the Rubik's cube after contacting them with only a week to go due to some emergencies transpiring. The transparency prior to purchase, customer support leading up to the event, the live customer support and usability of this service was tremendously amazing. It was truly plug and play and I had 100+mbps upload speed for my broadcast. I could not recommend them more. PLI CLE430 days agoBack in April 2025, we rented a venue where the in-house IT team was unable to provide the network connectivity required for our live stream—putting the entire run of show at serious risk, including potential event cancellation. Popup WIFI turned out to be a true lifesaver. We were especially impressed with the network speed and signal performance delivered by the omnidirectional antenna and Wi-Fi access point. This was done because our current infrastructure and geographic location cannot handle the bandwidth requirements for live video uploads. Our past partnership with PopUp WiFi has been instrumental in allowing our rodeo event to be broadcast on the Cowboy Channel. However, the venue is outside city limits, and consistent Wi-Fi with a crowd of 450 in one location is not guaranteed. We offer mobile bidding, and our donors need to be able to bid on auction items using their phones. The ordering, set-up, and return process of the boxes is easy. We will use the service again. It covered the entire footprint, which was slightly more than 100 feet in every direction from where we put the device. The signal was strong in every corner and the delivery, drop-off and setup couldn't have been easier. Really just need to take it out of the shipping box and plug it in. They always provide rock solid units for bonded internet solutions so we never have any connectivity issues anywhere we go. We had hear about PopUp WiFi and decided to reach out. We were given top-notch customer service, they make you feel valued, like an old friend, and take time to educate. Our location had very low quality cell service, but the system with a Starlink add on, gave us more than enough speeds to stream high quality feeds. GALA Choruses recently celebrated our Festival 2024 in Minneapolis, MN, bringing together 7000 singers and more than 5000 viewers to our video stream of concerts (both live and viewable after the event). The event takes place in a remote area with not a lot of cell coverage and WiFi is 100% necessary for a number of our event activities from check-in, to raffle and auction tickets sales, and fundraising. They have been nothing but attentive and courteous throughout the process of ordering rental equipment from them. I have worked with a few other companies through my 3 years in the live festival business and not a single one comes close to the level of customer service I have received from Pop-Up WiFi. Any problems or concerns I have had have always been answered and fixed by them within the hour that I brought it to their attention. I called Pop Up WiFi and got three times the Internet for a fraction of the price. They're as simple as plug and play and work just as well in densely populated areas. I was amongst a concert of 9000 pax and was still pulling north of 80mbs. Their support system is world class, a text message when a unit loses power is standard practise. James Abke2034 days agoDuring the first stages of lockdown in Los Angeles I became aware of PopUp WiFi from a co-worker. As a Digital Tech, I was looking for a way to bring reliable internet access to my location photo shoots when we were finally allowed to shoot again. I reached out to PopUp WiFi and outlined my plan and was delighted to find them not only responsive but also willing to work with me to introduce a bonded cellular solution to my clients. Since then I have rented their Express kit many times and it has been a game changer on every shoot. On a recent 30-day travel shoot that spanned 5 states, PopUp WiFi enabled us to hold uninterrupted Zoom meetings during 10-12 hour photo shoots. Each shoot had 3 HD video feeds and over 30 participants in very challenging environments. But the real payoff was how PopUp allowed the Photographer to upload files to his retoucher in London after each shoot. With upload speeds consistently between 35 and 50 Mbps, PopUp WiFi literally saved our shoot because hotel WiFi was unusable. PopUp noticed we were approaching our 500GB data package near the end of the shoot which gave us time to get approval from the client to increase our data plan on the fly. That proved to be essential in keeping our production on schedule as we were in the process of uploading the previous days shoot. We planned on leasing for our event and after being quoted over the phone by the owner, we felt as if we made the right choice. Then the invoice came in which was more the double. When questioned this we were told to go somewhere else as we "infered she was dishonest." Truth is we took responsibility and said we misunderstood but seems this companies ethics are below par. We found another company who is honest and professional. This place might have great equipment but we are thankful their true colors were revealed prior to sending thousands of dollars. We've been producing events for over 30 years in Los Angeles and this has been a first.
