Event Overview
War Heroes on Water is an annual sportfishing tournament and fundraiser created to help combat-wounded Veterans recover from the physical and emotional wounds of war. Our mission is to raise awareness of the challenges our Veterans face after their military tours are complete and establish lifelong bonds between the Veterans themselves, with our fleet captains and crews, and with the entire WHOW family.

Producer’s Comments
As our event gained traction in the veteran community, we felt a need to expand the reach of our messages to a wider online audience. Due to the remote nature of the events, we needed a service that could cater for our network needs and PopUp WiFi gave us the opportunity to incorporate a network specific component of our event in the form of a live-stream.
Without a stable and powerful internet connection, we wouldn’t have been able to reliably share key aspects of our event with an online audience.
