Event Overview
The Long Beach Polar Bear Splash is an Annual Polar Bear Plunge that raises funds for Make-A-Wish. The Splash is known for their iconic merchandise which is unveiled at the city’s Irish Day Parade.
At the parade, the color of the merchandise is revealed and sales begin using ipads/Square.The event has raised over $10M to help make wishes come true!
The Long Beach Polar Bears Splash 2024 took place on February 11, 2024, at Long Beach, NY. This annual event, traditionally held on Super Bowl Sunday, saw participants plunging into the cold Atlantic Ocean to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It was started in memory of Paulie Bradley, a young boy who passed away before his wish could be granted. Over the years, this community-driven event has raised millions to fulfill the wishes of critically ill children, blending fun and charitable spirit.
