Event Overview

“The Field of Dreams Bull Riding is a Non-Profit, Community Benefit Bull Riding that came to fruition from the desire to hold an event that can raise money for a community in need. We take an active farming field and create a bull riding, event venue with live music, bull riding, entertainment, fundraising dinner and more!

This event is a public event where we hold a bull riding in a field that is cleared after harvest for our bullriding. All the proceeds from the event get donated to several community organizations, such as:

Boys & Girls Club of Umpqua Valley
Chidlrens Organ Transplant Avodcates
Peace at Home Advocacy
Safe Haven Maternity
RHS FFA
NW Kidney Kids
Case of Douglas County
Challenge of Champions Cowboy Relief Fund
Individual Cancer Care Fund

We used PopUp WiFi to help us stream our event to our in-house Livestream Platform at Dacast, and to the Cowboy Channel+. Both streams were top-notch quality, and we were able to stream in HD without or lag or drops.”

Producer’s Comments

“I saw the technology utilized to create a reliable WiFi connection then talking with the staff at PopUp WiFi and was sold! Many of our venues are rural, older, with lower level technical infrastructures, many locales there isn’t an option to even bring in WiFi, when there is an option, the prices are in the thousands of dollars. Many times the house WiFi is below the standards we need to meet for quality livestreaming to Television, PopUp WiFi is a game changer.

If our internet didn’t work, we would have failed on our sponsorship commitments to stream to Television, tour followers would be let down not watching one of our special events, which includes sponsors. We would have had at least an extra week worth of extra work having to post-edit the event footage and submit to TV for airing after the event.

The last time we attempted rural internet, from a local provider, the streaming was inconsistent, with a lot of lag during the show. We had to have tech support frequently make adjustments on site during the event.

You are foolish if you don’t use it! PopUp WiFi is bringing the option to stream events anywhere there isn’t reliable internet. We had reliable, steady WiFi that met the requirements of streaming to National Television.”
