Back for their second year, Sam and Theo from RKS records absolutely smashed it with the weekend’s 2023 short release vinyl album launch, selling vinyls from independent music labels from across the world. Hundreds of avid music fans descended the steps of Hobart City Hall to purchase records, listen to live music and meet the face behind RKS records as guests were treated to a unique underground music scene that came to life after the sun went down. PopUp WiFi was used to connect POS devices to sell records and merch.
Producer’s Comments
As a historical building, the Hobart City Hall didn’t offer access to reliable internet, so an alternative way to connect POS devices was needed. With a PopUp WiFi Lite, we were able to connect both POS devices to a reliable and drop-out free internet connection. PopUp WiFi really saved the day, and we love working with the team every year!
