Event Overview
The Ed Farm Future of Learning Summit 2023, hosted in Birmingham, Alabama, was an innovative event focused on integrating technology with education to prepare educators for a future-focused teaching and learning approach. This summit, attended by nearly 200 educators, featured sessions facilitated by Apple Professional Learning specialists on various topics, including app design, coding, augmented reality, and more, aiming to equip teachers with skills for the 21st-century workforce.
Producer’s Comments
With upwards of 200 attendees connecting at least two devices each, Ed Farm needed a backup internet source to make sure educators could stay connected and presenters could stream online resources. Aaron Goldburg and his team from Ed Farm cleverly zip-tied three Beasts across the two venue levels to get those antennas high enough and provide coverage for the entire floor. The event was a huge success and The Beasts kept those educator’s devices (and brains) whirring seamlessly.
